Following AEW All Out Pay Per View on Sunday Sept 4, the comments by CM Punk and the furore that followed with alleged backstage fight, biting and all out chaos, It led to CM Punk being Stripped of his AEW World Title and Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega (The Elite) being stripped of their newly won AEW Trios titles. The weeks that have followed there have been unconfirmed reports of legal action and wrangling behind the scenes as well as Ace Steel reportedly being let go by AEW. The dust has ben settling since the incident took place and it looks like now that there may be a return on the table for The Elite. The Promo above aired on Wed 26 Oct AEW Dynamite where it showed pictures and footage of Nick, Matt and Kenny and in every one that was shown they were being dissolved on screen and their bodies and faces disappearing. It has been 7 Years since CM Punk Left WWE in 2014 and left pro wrestling to move into MMA, Acting and Movies and seemingly leave pro wrestling behind.  CM Punk stated on many occasions he wasn't interested in wrestling and he didn't feel there was any reason for him to come back.  When CM Punk did talk about wrestling he stated he wanted a new challenge and if he did want to come back it would have to be something that he was interested in and something that he wanted to do, not just coming back to come back. AEW and its flagship TV show AEW Dynamite has been established since Oct 2019 and since that launch they have been opposed by WWE and WWE NXT brand.  WWE along with USA network put NXT on USA Network on Wednesday nights to oppose AEW on TNT Network. WWE made a statement and as from 30 March 2021 NXT will now to on Tuesday nights leaving AEW unopposed and the only wrestling show to watch on Wednesdays. AEW are now on their own and with NXT on Tuesday all the focus will be on them. They have their own night and will have the whole audience. So what challenges lay ahead for AEW?  AEW need to be able to not only be able to excite the audience they have but also progress and be able to gain even more fans and people watching their product.  Now more than ever AEW storylines, how they present themselves is going to be under the microscope even more.
