WWE TV in UK 2024 Will it Stay on TNT Sports, Move Back to Sky or Somewhere new?

In 2020 WWE signed a multi year deal with TNT Sports (BT Sport at the time) to air WWE programming WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown and WWE NXT.  Channel 5 also airs highlights of WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown but on a week delay - Channel 5 is a free to air channel here in the UK.  Last week I received an email as a WWE Network subscriber here in the UK to inform me that I could now watch WWE NXT every week on WWE Network from 3rd Jan 2024. So this email got me thinking - is the WWE/TNT Sports UK TV deal coming up soon? it looks possible. Looking at the original story of the deal being made in 2020 multiple sources claim that it is a "multi year deal" See below  ( https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a28113145/wwe-smackdown-raw-watch-uk-tv-bt-sport/)     I could not find how many specific years that was., However I thought i'd give my opinion on where WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown could end up in 2024, The rights fee's obviously are alot less than there are in ...

AEW All Elite Wrestling to Sky Sports in The UK?

AEW  All Elite Wrestling to Sky Sports in The UK?  All Elite Wrestling airs in the UK on ITV 4 on a Friday night and ITV Hub (Itv on demand service should be uploaded on a Thursday) ITV don't air AEW Dynamite live and a separate subscription has to be purchased via Fite.TV if fans wish to do this.  Initially things started off OK although @itvwrestling had difficulties getting Dynamite on ITV Hub on time (they promised Thursdays at 7pm) usually this was up on a Friday morning. However as the weeks went on the uploading to ITV hub did not get any better and as of this writing its as worse as it has ever been they don't upload the episodes consistently which is leaving many fans frustrated and ITV Wrestling haven't been communicating with fans. @ITV Wrestling haven't tweeted about AEW since Dec 5th - they haven't updated any of their graphics since Full Gear and ITV wrestling now seem totally...

UK TV Wrestling - All Elite Wrestling to ITV and WWE to BT sport

UK TV Wrestling - All Elite Wrestling to ITV and WWE to BT Sport All Elite Wrestling to ITV Wow, just wow, In what has been the most game changing weeks in professional wrestling in the last 20 years. All elite wrestling announced that they had secured a TV deal with itv in the UK. This deal with UK biggest to rights broadcaster gives ITV rights For itv box office to air AEW pay per view events and for itv network to air AEW new weekly to show.  ITV used to show WCW back in the early 90s and then stopped showing wrestling until world of sport wrestling returned in 2018, ITV dipped their toe back in the water and I think they got a feeling that they would like to add wrestling on a more full time basis , sadly however for WOS it wasn't to be the UK promotion and ITV decided to take a chance with the all new AEW. A few days later at TV upfront in Madison square garden AEW and Time Warner announced that AEW would be debuting a new weekly to show on TNT in U...

Wwe network and wwe2k15 - delays and disappointments

WWE network and wwe2k15 - delays and disappointments As always what is written below is my opinion as a wrestling fan I'm not an'wrestling expert and don't proclaim to be one, just giving my opinion. With that said hope you enjoy the blog!!! :) I have been really disappointed by WWE recently first I hear that wwe 2k15 is being delayed for the ps4 and Xbox one due to 2k sports the game developer needing more time to make the game 100% as It needs to be. It's frustrating as this game is really anticipated and the announcement of new game mode my career sounds great, it's an annoyance for me but it's something I can understand. A statement in ign.com read "WWE 2k15 has been delayed on PS4 and Xbox One to November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe, 2K has announced. The next-gen installment in the popular franchise was originally expected on October 28 in North America and October 31 in Europe. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will still ...
