Your Mick F’n Foley

Your Mick F’n Foley   Mick Foley once said to Himself “I’m Cactus F’N Jack”   I would like to say to Mick today “Your Mick Fn Foley”   I saw a facebook post from Mick Foley today and he was explaining himself regarding his current opinions of WWE and the news that his son Dewey has been able to secure himself a position in WWE in the creative department.   M ick Writing compelled me enough to write this blog   As I read what Mick had to say and reading him justify his opinions and justify the reasons why his son got a job in WWE one thing was ringing through my mind     “your Mick f’n Foley you don’t have to justify yourself to me or anyone else”   Y our Mick F’N Foley the man the shed blood on nearly all continents of the world, Your Mick F’n Foley a man who put himself in a C4 explosion   match with Terry Funk, Your Mick f’n Foley the man who got thrown off the hell in the cell a...

How Edge vs Mick Foley WM22 Brought me back to WWE

How Edge vs Mick Foley WM22 Brought me back to WWE I have been thinking recently about what drew me back into wrestling from 2002-2005 I went on a hiatus from wrestling, as a huge fan all my life I’m not sure why maybe the product didn’t capture me, I was off doing other things (chasing girls and clubbing!) and I really fell out of love with the genre. M aybe it was because at that time I was trying to be something that I wasn’t and trying to be socially acceptable to people that actually I shouldn’t have been trying to pander too, either way I didn’t have my eyes on product, important point to remember is  you live and you learn J So it comes to May 2006 My friend Matt brought me for my birthday Wrestlemania 22 DVD and I hadn’t seen wrestling or any Wrestlemania’s in some time and wasn’t sure what it would be like watching wrestling again. It had been so long who was in wrestling now, had it all passed me by? Had what I had known for so m...

Want WWE Attitude Era in 2015?...No You want Entertainment

Want Attitude Era?...No You want Entertainment WWE The attitude Era - this is a defined period of time in WWE history between 1997-2008 where WWE went TV - 14 and had a very edgy and very over the top product where Wrestlers were more of an extension of themselves and they used more colourful language and mannerisms. It helped be the launching pad for many great stars including Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Mankind and many more. It also gave birth to a fantastic tag team division headed by The Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian, Dudley Boyz, having amazing matches with Tables, Ladders and Chairs that redefined WWE and their tag team division at the time. these men had some of the best matches in wrestling history After WWE purchased WCW in 2001 and then ECW went out of business also they decided to change direction and look at a different way of doing things. Fans since 2008 have bemoaned the direction of WWE - they have been very vocal in say...

Mick Foley Comedy Show Review Bath 2013

Mick Foley Comedy Show Review Bath 2013     Me and Mick Foley in Bath I brought my ticket for Mick Foley Comedy Show in Bath Months ago. I made sure I got a meet and greet ticket as I had gone to see Mick in Cardiff in 2012 and wanted to make sure I could meet him again. I arrived at the Komedia in Bath and the fans were queued up ready to get into the show. It was a very long line as I found out on the day that she show was sold out. That's a great achievement considering this was the first time for Mick in Bath shows that the advertising and promotion for his shows is spot on and he manages to reach the fans. I get into the building and I am on the bottom floor as I have a meet and great and priority seating ticket. Luckily a friends of mine @kitchkov saved me a seat where he was sitting so was able to sit 4 rows back and enjoy the show. I get some drinks and we are awaiting the start of the show. First of all the comedian supporting Mick on his tour ...
