Era of Aldis is Ending - Nick Aldis leaving NWA In a video posted on Nov 6 for subscribers (although accidently got posted for everyone) Nick Aldis announced that he will be leaving NWA on expiry of his contract on Jan 1 2023. Aldis was the founding member of Billy Corgan NWA, being there from day one, a mainstay of the Billy Corgan era. Aldis starting a feud with then NWA Champion Tim Storm and telling an incredible story throughout the early stages of NWA on a Youtube series called 10 Pounds of Gold. I think 10 Pounds of Gold really helped show the world who Nick Aldis is and give more exposure to him as a wrestler and also as a human being. It did the same for Tim Storm & fans got an insight and it was a series that got fans to care about both of them and really helped establish both in the NWA. I think it showed a different side of Aldis, one where you actually got to know the character of Nick Aldis. Aldis was getting to show the world who he really was as a wrestler which I d...

Since the inception of AEW at a press conference in Jacksonville, Florida on 8 January 2019 fans have been wondering and clamouring could there be a cross promotion between the newly formed AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling. With the majority of the AEW Roster being announced at the conference in Jan 2019 and being revealed as a number of Ex New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Alumni (Cody, The Young Bucks, Chris Jericho, Adam Page etc) and then following this in Feb 2019 Kenny Omega was announced as AEW signee, fans grew hopefully that a collaboration might happen. However sadly during the first year of the company this was not to be. AEW during that year had Jon Moxley, Best Friends, Lance Archer and other NJPW Alumni join their roster and  despite AEW and AEW Owner Tony Khan allowing his AEW contracted wrestlers to wrestle for NJPW (Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley) New Japan was still unwilling to allow their wrestlers to appear on AEW. Then thing star...

Kenny Omega Last Quest in NJPW & his New Adventure in All Elite Wrestling As of the time of this writing no one knows where Kenny Omega will end up signing and where he will continue what has been an excellent wrestling career wrestling in Japan. Kenny Omega has been wrestling in New Japan Pro Wrestling and selected independent wrestling companies for the past few years. Kenny Omega has achieved so much in New Japan including being the first non Japanese wrestler to win G1 Tournament and becoming IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.  Kenny Omega along with Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson The Young Bucks Created The Elite and that in turn then led to Being The Elite a popular youtube series  which also included Cody, Adam Page and Marty Scrull. The popularity Kenny Omega soared with his excellent matches breaking the tradition 5 star scale and creating and delivering his own vision of professional wrestling combined with being the elite has raised his val...

Kenny Omega Legacy in New Japan Pro Wrestling Kenny Omega has announced that he is leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling as of January 2019. Kenny Omega joined the promotion in 2010 and won the following titles while in New Japan Pro Wrestling G1 climax winner 2016 IWGP Heavyweight Champion IWGP Intercontinental Champion IWGP US Champion IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion X2 IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Champion IWGP Never Openweight 6 man tag team champion  X2 I want to have a look at Kenny Omega legacy on New Japan Pro Wrestling what he achieved there and the new ground he broke there. To me and in my opinion, Kenny Omega changed the world of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Kenny Omega brought New Japan Pro Wrestling to a Western Hemisphere audience and helped prople the reach of New Japan Pro Wrestling to a new audience along with breaking new ground for what a non Japanese wrestler could achieve in Japanese wrestling. Kenny Omega Changing Perceptions in NJPW Kenny Omega when he came ...

Happy 20 Year Anniversary  CSF Pro Wrestling (CSF Wrestling UK)  Can you remember what you were doing in November 1998? Let me take you back in time, it was a month where  Tragedy by Steps was number 1 in the charts in this month Dion Dublin was Footballer of The Month for November 1999 Manager of The Month was Harry Redknapp  In the world of wrestling  WWE (then WWF) were gearing up for Survivor Series 1998 where The Rock won the Deadly Game Tournament defeating Mankind in the finals.   In WCW they were preparing for WCW World War 3 PPV Me? When I think back to that time I was busy playing WCW/NWO revenge on the N64 in year 8 at secondary school but at that time Stuart Natt was doing something very different he was  taking on the world of professional wrestling  and created his own wrestling company CSF Wrestling. CSF Wrestling actually first started out as CSF Promotions and the idea behind the company was to promote...
