All Elite CM Punk

It has been 7 Years since CM Punk Left WWE in 2014 and left pro wrestling to move into MMA, Acting and Movies and seemingly leave pro wrestling behind.

CM Punk stated on many occasions he wasn't interested in wrestling and he didn't feel there was any reason for him to come back.

When CM Punk did talk about wrestling he stated he wanted a new challenge and if he did want to come back it would have to be something that he was interested in and something that he wanted to do, not just coming back to come back.

CM Punk coming to All Elite Wrestling has been rumoured ever since the inception of All Elite Wrestling as a company, it was strongly rumoured at Starrcast 3 (A wrestling convention) in which CM Punk did a sit down/Q&A about his career on 31 August 2019, however Punk was asked the question whether he would appear the next day, at All Out he said no and nothing did take place.

See the full Starcast interview below

So what has changed? Honestly it could be any number of things, maybe CM Punk misses pro wrestling and wants to return and get back in the ring. Maybe CM Punk thinks he can do something new and fresh and different and create compelling stories and have input into what he is doing and his character.

I think that for CM Punk there is plenty of new and fresh matches things to be creatively excited about. If you look at the roster at AEW there are so many matches with Kenny Omega being top of my list, but also think of Adam Page, Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, MJF, Young Bucks, Eddie Kingston, Miro, Jon Moxley, Christian, Sting, Jungle Boy the list is endless.

On top of that also AEW have been very happy for their talents to work for different promotions and this could lead to CM Punk working in NJPW, Impact, NWA and more and creating even more stories and having great matches, that to me has to be a huge plus too.

CM Punk would also be encouraged to continue with outside projects as we have seen for example with Jake Hager doing both MMA and Wrestling, Punk could continue doing film roles, Acting or Writing and have the freedom to enjoy all aspects of his life.

In addition AEW may have a role available for April Mendez (CM Punk Wife Formally AJ Lee in WWE). AJ Mendez wrote a book previously called "Crazy is my Superpower" and has been a strong advocate for mental health and I think she could be a huge asset to AEW Community Outreach Program and to AEW Women's Division also if that is something that AJ wants to do herself and whether she would like to come back to Wrestling.

As far as return, personally I hope that this time it does happen and the stars are aligned for a CM Punk Return and he comes back and is the version of CM Punk he see's in his mind and he is the version of himself that he wants to present in Pro Wrestling.

Women's Wrestling as I was growing up was very sparse. I was a big WWE fan and started watching in 1990 as a 4 year old. We used to see some females in front of the camera Miss Elizabeth, Sensational Sherri and more but rarely did we see them wrestle.  As time moved i...

My Memories Kevin Nash WCW years 1996-2001

My Memories Kevin Nash WCW Years 1996 -2001   After the success of my last blog Kevin Nash the WWE years 1993-1996 (Which can be viewed here)   http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=1989536858659423683#editor/target=post;postID=6495934313225897804     Based on feedback I received I decided that I would do another blog on Kevin Nash this time looking back at the next part of his career from Mid 1996-2001 Kevin Nash Career in WCW.   This blog differs slightly to the last one as at this time in my life we could not watch WCW here in the UK as we did not have Sky TV Therefore some of this I saw at the time and other things I have had to research.       When Kevin Nash Left WWF in May of 1996 it was to move to longtime WWF Rival WCW. Kevin was no stranger to WCW having been in WCW before he came to WWE in 1993. Kevin Came in  to WCW a week after his good friend Scott Hall made his debut on WCW Nitro May 27th 19...
