The De-elite-ton of The Elite - What Happens when they return to AEW?

Following AEW All Out Pay Per View on Sunday Sept 4, the comments by CM Punk and the furore that followed with alleged backstage fight, biting and all out chaos, It led to CM Punk being Stripped of his AEW World Title and Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega (The Elite) being stripped of their newly won AEW Trios titles.

The weeks that have followed there have been unconfirmed reports of legal action and wrangling behind the scenes as well as Ace Steel reportedly being let go by AEW.

The dust has ben settling since the incident took place and it looks like now that there may be a return on the table for The Elite.

The Promo above aired on Wed 26 Oct AEW Dynamite where it showed pictures and footage of Nick, Matt and Kenny and in every one that was shown they were being dissolved on screen and their bodies and faces disappearing.

This got me thinking what are we going to see from the trio on their return and what could their promo video mean?

I have an idea, a theory on this it could go many ways, but here's my take.

The D-Elite vs Moxely, Jericho and Danielson
I think that The Elite are going to come back as a vengeful group, disenfranchised, bitter and miserable and they want to take down AEW and everything it has built and stood for I would call them The D-Elite. (the D standing for Deleted, so the Deleted Elite)

I think the story you could build is that Nick, Matt and Kenny are EVP of the company they helped name and create this company and were there from day one to support, nourish and push forward their and Tony Khan vision of professional wrestling.

Then The AEW brawl takes place then suddenly all references to them are taken away, taken out of the AEW Dynamite opening, no mention of them on TV, by the commentors or by talent, no mention of their title reigns or achievements. The Elite get no phone calls or contact from any of the talent or people connected to AEW during their enforced absence - they are alienated by the whole company.

Now they are back and they are going to systematically take down AEW and everything that it is and stands for. I'd have them ruin matches with interference, attack people backstage and create as problematic environment as possible.

This culminates with The D-Elite specifically targeting Jericho, Moxley and Danielson, who Tony Khan put in place to be mentors in the absence of The Elite. The Elite can reference the new contracts given to Jericho and Moxley recently also which include "increased responsibility"

The Elite see these as the men who they believe "took their spot" and left them in the dust to die and who Tony Khan wants to replace them with.

I like the idea that The Elite could be a bit darker, moodier and we could see a very different side to their personality. I'd also have this reflected in the way they wrestle, gone are all the flashily, exciting and entertaining moves, replaced, by punishing, punches, kicks and submissions because they want to punish everyone for their betrayal and lack of faith in them.

That is my idea, whether that happens or not remains to be seen, It might and could go a very different direction, but I'm Happy Matt, Nick and Kenny are back and intrigued to see where they take this, what they do going forward.

This could get very interesting.......

20 Year Anniversary of CSF Pro Wrestling (CSF Wrestling UK)

Happy 20 Year Anniversary  CSF Pro Wrestling (CSF Wrestling UK)  Can you remember what you were doing in November 1998? Let me take you back in time, it was a month where  Tragedy by Steps was number 1 in the charts in this month Dion Dublin was Footballer of The Month for November 1999 Manager of The Month was Harry Redknapp  In the world of wrestling  WWE (then WWF) were gearing up for Survivor Series 1998 where The Rock won the Deadly Game Tournament defeating Mankind in the finals.   In WCW they were preparing for WCW World War 3 PPV Me? When I think back to that time I was busy playing WCW/NWO revenge on the N64 in year 8 at secondary school but at that time Stuart Natt was doing something very different he was  taking on the world of professional wrestling  and created his own wrestling company CSF Wrestling. CSF Wrestling actually first started out as CSF Promotions and the idea behind the company was to promote...

My Memories Kevin Nash WCW years 1996-2001

My Memories Kevin Nash WCW Years 1996 -2001   After the success of my last blog Kevin Nash the WWE years 1993-1996 (Which can be viewed here)   http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=1989536858659423683#editor/target=post;postID=6495934313225897804     Based on feedback I received I decided that I would do another blog on Kevin Nash this time looking back at the next part of his career from Mid 1996-2001 Kevin Nash Career in WCW.   This blog differs slightly to the last one as at this time in my life we could not watch WCW here in the UK as we did not have Sky TV Therefore some of this I saw at the time and other things I have had to research.       When Kevin Nash Left WWF in May of 1996 it was to move to longtime WWF Rival WCW. Kevin was no stranger to WCW having been in WCW before he came to WWE in 1993. Kevin Came in  to WCW a week after his good friend Scott Hall made his debut on WCW Nitro May 27th 19...
