AEW and its flagship TV show AEW Dynamite has been established since Oct 2019 and since that launch they have been opposed by WWE and WWE NXT brand.  WWE along with USA network put NXT on USA Network on Wednesday nights to oppose AEW on TNT Network. WWE made a statement and as from 30 March 2021 NXT will now to on Tuesday nights leaving AEW unopposed and the only wrestling show to watch on Wednesdays. AEW are now on their own and with NXT on Tuesday all the focus will be on them. They have their own night and will have the whole audience. So what challenges lay ahead for AEW?  AEW need to be able to not only be able to excite the audience they have but also progress and be able to gain even more fans and people watching their product.  Now more than ever AEW storylines, how they present themselves is going to be under the microscope even more. For me this is where the experienced wrestlers come in, so many people have questioned why AEW signed established stars. For ...

Since the inception of AEW at a press conference in Jacksonville, Florida on 8 January 2019 fans have been wondering and clamouring could there be a cross promotion between the newly formed AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling. With the majority of the AEW Roster being announced at the conference in Jan 2019 and being revealed as a number of Ex New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Alumni (Cody, The Young Bucks, Chris Jericho, Adam Page etc) and then following this in Feb 2019 Kenny Omega was announced as AEW signee, fans grew hopefully that a collaboration might happen. However sadly during the first year of the company this was not to be. AEW during that year had Jon Moxley, Best Friends, Lance Archer and other NJPW Alumni join their roster and  despite AEW and AEW Owner Tony Khan allowing his AEW contracted wrestlers to wrestle for NJPW (Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley) New Japan was still unwilling to allow their wrestlers to appear on AEW. Then thing star...

All Elite Tony Khan When AEW was announced on Jan 1st 2019 there were so many questions, Who was going to be on the roster, what shows would they have? and how would they compete in the wrestling world? The biggest question of all though who was behind the formation of AEW - that man name is Tony Khan. Tony Khan states that the wheels were turning for starting a promotion in 2018 and then Tony Khan went to  All In event that was ran by Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. After this event Tony Khan started having conversations in the following months with these talents about forming a new promotion and what he wanted to achieve and what he saw his vision was. Tony Khan advises that the way he got AEW started was by going to his father Shad Khan with a very detailed business plan of what they needed to invest and what was needed to bring it together. Tony explains that he had to present his idea to his father and it had to make good business sen...

The Real Jake Hager in AEW Picture Via Telegraph Jake Hager formally known as Jack Swagger during his time in WWE,  Jake had a great run in WWE and started in the promotion in 2006 and Hager become WWE Developmental Territory FCW 1st ever FCW World Champion. Jake then moved to the main WWE roster and from 2008-2017 and during that time Jake become ECW Champion, WWE Money in The Bank Winner, United States Champion and World Heavyweight Champion. Jake had a memorable pairing With Zeb Colter and later Cesaro as the Real Americans. I thought Zeb and Jake were a great pairing and complemented each other so well and when they debuted it created so much buzz and controversy but it seemed like WWE got cold feet and never took this as far as it could go, it would of been interesting to see how far this could of gone. You can check out a recent interview Jake did with Dutch Mantell (Zeb Colter) on his podcast they go into their run in WWE and the issues they fac...

AEW  All Elite Wrestling to Sky Sports in The UK?  All Elite Wrestling airs in the UK on ITV 4 on a Friday night and ITV Hub (Itv on demand service should be uploaded on a Thursday) ITV don't air AEW Dynamite live and a separate subscription has to be purchased via Fite.TV if fans wish to do this.  Initially things started off OK although @itvwrestling had difficulties getting Dynamite on ITV Hub on time (they promised Thursdays at 7pm) usually this was up on a Friday morning. However as the weeks went on the uploading to ITV hub did not get any better and as of this writing its as worse as it has ever been they don't upload the episodes consistently which is leaving many fans frustrated and ITV Wrestling haven't been communicating with fans. @ITV Wrestling haven't tweeted about AEW since Dec 5th - they haven't updated any of their graphics since Full Gear and ITV wrestling now seem totally...
