Review Blog and Video

Hello Everyone and welcome to the Strike Wrestling 19th August 2018 Show blog and video review.

I travelled to Bournemouth to go to my 2nd Strike Wrestling show, this show was being taped for TV.

You'll see in the video below some of the difficulties I had with Travel due to issues with trains and some difficulties with Hotel Rooms, unfortunately it was just one of those weekends plus add in that I haven't been feeling well, however the wrestling made up for it.

On The Road Strike Wrestling Sun 19th Aug 2018

The Matches for Strike Wrestling (with some quick thoughts) were as follows

Ashley Dunn vs Chris Tyler

A high flying, all action contest, an excellent opening match and both men really kicked off the show well and delivered a great match. Chris Tyler wins the match.

Priscilla vs Stacey Chambers

Fantastic Entrances from both competitors, never seen Stacey Chambers before he was singing his own theme which I thought was great. Priscilla did a brand new lip sync and performance which was enthralling and exciting as ever.

Priscilla wins the match

Josh Bodom vs Ryan Hendricks

These two men beat the hell out of each other, with kicks, punches, kendo sticks, Brawls, dives to the floor then Chris Tyler interfered and Josh Bodom got put through a table by Hendricks and Tyler however Bodom overcame the odds to win the match.

Kelly Sixx vs Eddie Ryan

Kelly Sixx comes out says Ryan isn't there and he has a replacement on a leash that looks like Eddie Ryan, it turns out to be Eddie Ryan!

Loved Kelly Sixx arrogance in this match made you hate him even more.

Eddie Ryan was tremendous as always, with the fans behind him he hit some fantastic moves including Shattered Dreams to a stricken Kelly Sixx in the corner and a Styles Clash for the win!

Eddie Ryan Wins the match

Dick Riley vs TK Cooper

A fantastic main event between two excellent performers, TK cooper even used his own promo picture at one point to give Dick Riley a paper cut! TK is athletic and full of attitude as always. Dick Riley was sensational with a Spanish fly from the top rope and hitting massive powerbomb, and a reverse flying body press to outside of the ring at one point!

Overall Thoughts

I thought it was again another brilliant show following up from the last show I went to in May. Strike Wrestling always deliver a fun filled, hard hitting and different show. Being an over 18's show alot more can be done, and different aspects and perspectives can be explored. The fans bring a great atmosphere to the show and really get on some of the wrestlers back (as well as the referee) but it was all in good fun and created some fun moments.

Overall a fantastic show and something I really enjoyed, the next one is coming up on Sunday November 25th expect announcements soon or being able to purchase tickets and talent announcements for the show.

Women's Wrestling as I was growing up was very sparse. I was a big WWE fan and started watching in 1990 as a 4 year old. We used to see some females in front of the camera Miss Elizabeth, Sensational Sherri and more but rarely did we see them wrestle.  As time moved i...

My Memories Kevin Nash WCW years 1996-2001

My Memories Kevin Nash WCW Years 1996 -2001   After the success of my last blog Kevin Nash the WWE years 1993-1996 (Which can be viewed here)   http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=1989536858659423683#editor/target=post;postID=6495934313225897804     Based on feedback I received I decided that I would do another blog on Kevin Nash this time looking back at the next part of his career from Mid 1996-2001 Kevin Nash Career in WCW.   This blog differs slightly to the last one as at this time in my life we could not watch WCW here in the UK as we did not have Sky TV Therefore some of this I saw at the time and other things I have had to research.       When Kevin Nash Left WWF in May of 1996 it was to move to longtime WWF Rival WCW. Kevin was no stranger to WCW having been in WCW before he came to WWE in 1993. Kevin Came in  to WCW a week after his good friend Scott Hall made his debut on WCW Nitro May 27th 19...
