This was my first ever time at Ultimate Pro Wrestling show. UPW have been running for some time now and I just managed to find the right date and time  and what a show I picked!

As I say all the time its great to get out and see different shows, different matches are as much different talent as possible.

UPW Arrival has Marty Scrull, CCK, Josh Bodom, Ryan Smile and many more a packed card!

Match Results/Summary

(All photos taken by me)

I was treated to a tremendous night of action, the card from start to finish was great and had some incredible matches

Dan Magee Vs Jeckal

Jeckyl and Dan Magee kicked us off with the crowd solidly behind Magee, However Jeckyl was more than happy to use any underhand tactics and abuse the fans in attendance and Jeckyl was able to come away with the win.

Winner - Jeckyl

Ayesha Ray Vs Connie Steele

I was seeing both these ladies for the first time live and they both impressed. Connie did not like anyone at all, she was ordering around officials and ring announcers (and as you will see below used them in a very strange way!)

It was great to see Ayesha Ray Live for the first time she has such presence and ability to match.

The WWE Mae Young Classic competitor dominated the match and Connie was unable to overcome her strength and power and was able to win with a Double handed Chokeslam to Connie!

Marty Scrull vs Mark Haskins

Mark Haskins is out first and looks ready for Business, Marty Scrull comes out next with his trademark Umbrella and Mask.

The Match began and these two had a crazy, incredible match. They were wrestling in the ring and then the action spilled out on the floor where Mark and Marty fought in the crowd, sat on seats in the crowd and then shouted "S*** it" at each other at one point Marty Face ended up being rubbed in Mark crotch!!

Marty was able to win the match and make Mark tap out to the Chicken Wing Submission.

CCK Vs Charleston Allen & Kip Sabian

I was very happy to have the opportunity to see CCK live again and again for the first time I was seeing Charleston Allen and Kip Sabian.

I must say that I really enjoyed the dynamic between Sabian and Allen especially Allen dedication to the fact that he is number 1 and everyone else is none!

CCK were unbelievable as always with such a unique array of tag team manoeuvres. With CCK you always see something new and CCK are doing so many great things for UK Wrestling and Tag Team Wrestling in particular.

Chris Brookes and Kid Lykos really are must see in person!

CCK won the match via Pinfall

CCK will be back in UPW next show as it was announced CCK will take on The Brothers Awe

Eddie Ryan Vs Josh Bodom  Vs Ryan Smile

I thought that Eddie Ryan vs Josh Bodom Vs Ryan Smile was an excellent Triple Threat match and had a tremendous mix of so much action, intensity and althletism.

Adding Ryan Smile to this as well as added such a dynamic element and on a personally level I was happy to see Ryan as last time I saw him live in South West was 2013.

Josh Bodom won the match and is now number one contender for the UPW World Title. In my opinion Josh deserves it, he has so much natural ability and on this showing tonight is a future world champion.

Winner and Number one Contender - Josh Bodom

UPW World Title
Iestyn Rees Vs Dirty Dick Riley

Iestyn Rees and Dick Riley were in combat for the UPW World Title. Champion Dick Riley looked confident as he came to the ring against the imposing Lestyn Rees.

Dick Riley used his own ability and skill to take down the huge rees, with suicide dives and a somersault dive off the merchandise table!!

Iestyn took control in a lot of the match and even grabbed the UPW world Title when the referee was down after being crushed in the corner.

However it was Dick Riley who was successfully able to retain his title and as such now looks like it will be Dick Riley vs Number one Contender Josh Bodom very soon.

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Ziggler is Lucky Number 1 (or 2) Dolph Ziggler This Sunday 27th January 2013 WWE Royal Rumble will air. Generally One of the best WWE PPV's of the year. This year 30 Man Royal Rumble match has alot of intrigue built into it most people are of the opinion that John Cena will be winning this years event and then go on to face The Rock at Wrestlemania. However after seeing this past Monday's WWE raw WWE might have something else in mind.,.,, Royal Rumble 2013 A Beat the clock challenge took place on WWE Raw and the winner of this we were originally told could pick their number for the Royal Rumble Match. Dolph Ziggler Ends up winning the Beat The Clock challenge then when he is bragging about this Vicki Guerreo informs Ziggler that it is not a free choice of Royal Rumble Entry number instead it is a number chosen within a certain range Number one to Number two. Here's what WWE could do This I feel is the ideal opportunity fo

Strike Wrestling Results Bournemouth May 20th 2018

Strike Wrestling Results Bournemouth May 20th 2018   Hello Wrestling fans! Welcome to the first ever Strike Wrestling Results blog!  I went to Bournemouth and took x2 trains and a bus to get there and it was well worth the effort. Before I get to the wrestling a bit about Bournemouth Bournemouth is a beautiful town it was a sunny hot day. I managed to go to the beach and see the pier and get a great view from Bournemouth on top of the cliffs, where there were also many of great restaurants and places to eat. Check out my on the road video on Strike Wrestling by clicking the video below! This was my first show at Strike Wrestling and Strike is an over 18’s show so I was expecting a different vibe, feel and presentation to family orientated wrestling that I have attended in the past. Strike wrestling is high paced, hard hitting, fast action but with a huge streak of entertainment, fun and having a great time.   From where I was

WWE TV in UK 2024 Will it Stay on TNT Sports, Move Back to Sky or Somewhere new?

In 2020 WWE signed a multi year deal with TNT Sports (BT Sport at the time) to air WWE programming WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown and WWE NXT.  Channel 5 also airs highlights of WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown but on a week delay - Channel 5 is a free to air channel here in the UK.  Last week I received an email as a WWE Network subscriber here in the UK to inform me that I could now watch WWE NXT every week on WWE Network from 3rd Jan 2024. So this email got me thinking - is the WWE/TNT Sports UK TV deal coming up soon? it looks possible. Looking at the original story of the deal being made in 2020 multiple sources claim that it is a "multi year deal" See below  ( https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a28113145/wwe-smackdown-raw-watch-uk-tv-bt-sport/)     I could not find how many specific years that was., However I thought i'd give my opinion on where WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown could end up in 2024, The rights fee's obviously are alot less than there are in USA due to WWE Raw and Sma
