Kenny Omega Last Quest in NJPW & his New Adventure in All Elite Wrestling

Kenny Omega Last Quest in NJPW & his New Adventure in All Elite Wrestling

As of the time of this writing no one knows where Kenny Omega will end up signing and where he will continue what has been an excellent wrestling career wrestling in Japan.

Kenny Omega has been wrestling in New Japan Pro Wrestling and selected independent wrestling companies for the past few years.

Kenny Omega has achieved so much in New Japan including being the first non Japanese wrestler to win G1 Tournament and becoming IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.

Kenny Omega along with Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson The Young Bucks Created The Elite and that in turn then led to Being The Elite a popular youtube series  which also included Cody, Adam Page and Marty Scrull.

The popularity Kenny Omega soared with his excellent matches breaking the tradition 5 star scale and creating and delivering his own vision of professional wrestling combined with being the elite has raised his value both as a wrestler and a personality.

Kenny Omega as a result has been the best wrestler in the world and one of the most sought after talents in professional wrestling today.

Kenny Omega has plenty of offers and plenty of options of where he can go and what he can do, the great thing for Kenny Omega is that all the options are in his hands and its really up to Kenny Omega what he wants to do next.

Kenny Omega has reportedly got offers on the table from

New Japan Pro Wrestling
WWE
All Elite Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling

New Japan Pro Wrestling has been the company where Kenny Omega has made a name for himself, its where Kenny Omega has excelled and where he has grown as a performer.

In 2018  something changed and behind the scenes at New Japan Pro Wrestling and this is purely speculation on my part but in my opinion it seemed to me that when Harold Meji was appointed president to New Japan Pro Wrestling that things haven't been the same since.

I think Harold Meji and his new regime want to take New Japan Pro Wrestling in a different direction and not maybe in the direction that Kenny Omega was spearheading.

Kenny Omega, his style and his vision is one of the main reasons that New Japan Pro Wrestling got so popular with a western audience and New Japan World Subscriptions increased and USA Tours would sell out in minutes.

On a personal level It was Kenny Omega being in the main event of Wrestlekingdom 11 and watching so many great matches of his that made me travel over 10,000 miles round trip to see him in Japan live in the Toyko Dome, that's the dedication Kenny Omega illicits from fans all over the world

I don't feel Harold Meji respects that and I don't think he understands , I feel New Japan have become very arrogant and they feel they don't need The Elite or Kenny Omega, that their part is done and they are no longer needed.

I think in time Harold Meji will realise the mistake he has made, but it may be too late and they New Japan Pro Wrestling never be as popular again as they have been.

WWE

WWE have been long time admirers of Kenny Omega and its been no secret that they would love to have Kenny Omega in the WWE.

Kenny Omega would be the shot in the arm that the WWE really needs. WWE are struggling creatively something that they have acknowledged and Kenny Omega coming in to WWE could lead to so many great matches on either Raw or Smackdown.

My worry is would WWE allow Kenny Omega to be the wrestler that he wants to be? For every success that comes in to WWE like AJ Styles, there are excellent wrestlers like Finn Balor, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and especially Shinsuke Nakamura that WWE have used so poorly, WWE treat them as just another talent and these wrestlers are so much better than that, Kenny Omega is so much better than that.

Sure WWE would offer Kenny Omega a huge contract and of course money has its part to play but I don't personally feel that Money is Kenny Omega motivation, I think and its just my opinion that Kenny Omega wants to create a legacy, whether that can be done in WWE remains to be seen.

All Elite Wrestling

This for me is the best option of Kenny Omega. All Elite wrestling is being run by his friends Nick and Matt Jackson and Cody.

Kenny knows how he is doing business with, I'm sure AEW Contract offer would be fairly substantial but I think like Chris Jericho contract it would offer the flexibility to work in Japan or other selected companies if he so wished.

Also for me I think this fits Kenny Omega best, they are using Kenny Omega saying for the AEW brand "Change the World" and Kenny Omega as I said earlier has been changing the world through his vision of professional wrestling.

I think Kenny Omega creatively and his ideas and opinions would be more valued in AEW, it think that he would be taken more notice of and I think that Kenny Omega would be more creatively fulfilled in AEW.

In addition for Kenny Omega in AEW is helping create something new, fresh and different, Kenny Omega has never followed the crowd and has always followed his own mind and what he thinks is best, AEW is the perfect fit for Kenny Omega but whether the stars align and whether it comes true only time will tell.

The ball is firmly in Kenny Omega Court...….

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Ziggler is Lucky Number 1 (or 2) Dolph Ziggler This Sunday 27th January 2013 WWE Royal Rumble will air. Generally One of the best WWE PPV's of the year. This year 30 Man Royal Rumble match has alot of intrigue built into it most people are of the opinion that John Cena will be winning this years event and then go on to face The Rock at Wrestlemania. However after seeing this past Monday's WWE raw WWE might have something else in mind.,.,, Royal Rumble 2013 A Beat the clock challenge took place on WWE Raw and the winner of this we were originally told could pick their number for the Royal Rumble Match. Dolph Ziggler Ends up winning the Beat The Clock challenge then when he is bragging about this Vicki Guerreo informs Ziggler that it is not a free choice of Royal Rumble Entry number instead it is a number chosen within a certain range Number one to Number two. Here's what WWE could do This I feel is the ideal opportunity fo...

WWE TV in UK 2024 Will it Stay on TNT Sports, Move Back to Sky or Somewhere new?

In 2020 WWE signed a multi year deal with TNT Sports (BT Sport at the time) to air WWE programming WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown and WWE NXT.  Channel 5 also airs highlights of WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown but on a week delay - Channel 5 is a free to air channel here in the UK.  Last week I received an email as a WWE Network subscriber here in the UK to inform me that I could now watch WWE NXT every week on WWE Network from 3rd Jan 2024. So this email got me thinking - is the WWE/TNT Sports UK TV deal coming up soon? it looks possible. Looking at the original story of the deal being made in 2020 multiple sources claim that it is a "multi year deal" See below  ( https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a28113145/wwe-smackdown-raw-watch-uk-tv-bt-sport/)     I could not find how many specific years that was., However I thought i'd give my opinion on where WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown could end up in 2024, The rights fee's obviously are alot less than there are in ...
