In an interview with APNews.com NWA Owner Billy Corgan stated that NWA would return to PPV with NWA Back on the Attack exclusive to Fite Tv on March 21 2021 and that NWA Power would resume episodes on Fite TV under a subscription model.
Details of the subscription model have emerged and it looks like it will be around $4.99 a month for NWA Powerrr, which I consider great value as that only works out at just over $1 a week!
Billy Corgan stated in his Interview with APNews.com regarding NWA Power
"What I didn’t anticipate was how much people would love the format and want more of it and not less of it,” Corgan said. “In our downtime, we did a fan survey and the No. 1 thing was, don’t get rid of ‘Power.’”
Corgan also stated in his interview with APNews.com that NWA was not in financial peril
"“We were never in any financial peril,” Corgan said. “We were totally on a growth pattern. The plan for last year before things kind of hit the skids was to start pivoting. We were in discussions with Live Nation about running live events to help bring in revenue and expand who was watching the product. It was more about growing pains stuff, but we didn’t have any problems internally with the product.”
I'm very excited myself NWA Powerrr was something I watched every week before the pandemic and it was different, it created new stars and was entertaining and engaging. There have been several changes to personnel and to the world since that last episode of Powerrr but I am confident they can recapture the magic of an amazing show.
Nick Aldis, Thom Latimer, The Pope, Thunder Rosa, Kamille, and so many more will be back on our screens not only that I am sure that Billy Corgan will introduce even more talent to the roster, new wrestlers we haven't seen before and again create even more stars in 2021 and beyond!
There will be more details soon on the upcoming matches for NWA PPV including NWA World Title Match involving Nick Aldis, NWA Women's title and more! Make sure you follow @nwa, @fiteTV on Twitter and stay up to date with the latest news as it is available!
