With Josh Bodom, Joseph Connors TK Cooper and more!

UPW Ultimate Pro Wrestling returned to Wincanton Memorial Hall on a scorching Saturday 21st July for International Showdown!

This was a stacked card from UPW including Tristan Archer, Tom La Ruffa, Josh Bodom, Joseph Connors, TK Cooper, Chuck Mumbo, Sid Scala, Adam Da Silva, Max Castle Josh Knott and more!

Quick Match Summary and Results

TK Cooper Defeated Dan Magee

TK Cooper and Dan Magee set the tone for the evening, I was seeing moves I hadn't seen before and they had a great match to kick us off.

TK Cooper getting the win vs Dan Magee and pushing himself forward in UPW, Dan Magee even though he lost in this match had a great showing, the future is looking bright for both these men in UPW.

Adam Da Silva Defeated Josh Knott

"The TV Star" Adam Da Silva came out first Da Silva took the microphone and stated that he thinks Eddie Ryan killed 5 Star Wrestling and with it Adam TV opportunities.

Da Silva and Max Castle again attacked Josh Knott this time before the bell had even rang and their match had started and they took every advantage that they could and Josh Fought bravely , coming off the turnbuckles once with a dropkick and again with a double axe handle but Knott was  battling against the odds, Da Silva with the help of Castle (castle hitting Knott with a hockey stick) and then Da Silva DDT-ing Knott on a Flack Jacket was able to get the win.

Afterwards Josh Knott Challenged Both Adam Silva and Castle to a tag team match vs Knott and his partner Eddie Ryan at an upcoming show.

Tom La Ruffa Defeated Damien Moser

Tom La Ruffa then defeated Damien Moser in a very hard hitting contest, where it looked like both men could of picked up the win here, La Ruffa even hit a 619 during the match! La Ruffa picked up the win vs a very strong Damien Moser.

 Sid Scala Defeated Joseph Conners

Joseph Connors had pure hate in his heart for Sid Scala and Joseph took every opportunity to beat and berate Sid Scala and the crowd too for that matter, Sid was able to pick up the surprise win after hitting Connors with his watch, it was a brilliant match. Joseph Connors However was livid.

I look forward to seeing these two tie up again soon. Joseph Connors is in my opinion going to be someone to look out for in WWE NXT UK watch this space.

Blake Defeated Chuck Mambo

Chuck Mambo vs Blake, Chuck had his Beach Balls in his entrance as always and Mambo took the fight outside the ring, diving over the ropes and one point, but The Powerhouse Blake came back hitting a huge standing Suplex at one point, and really putting Mambo in some trouble but despite this Chuck Mambo with the support of the crowd was able to pick up the victory.

UPW World Champion Josh Bodom defeated Tristan Archer

Main Event Saw Tristan Archer vs UPW World Champion Josh Bodom in a non title match.

Bodom hit Archer with Hard Kicks and Forearms and even flew over the top rope onto Archer at one point in the match.

Archer came back and hit Bodom with Double Knees to the chest but Bodom hit the Bodom Buster and got the pinfall victory in what was a great main event.

Bodom got a huge Victory here over a former WWE competitor but who is going to be next to challenge for Bodom UPW title, rumours are the Bram wants that UPW title, Will these Men meet? or is Someone else going to step up to take on Bodom?

Either Way Bodom has the momentum and confidence going forward can anyone stop your current UPW Champion?

I felt this was a excellent show throughout, with great action, excitement and matches throughout the card.

If you want to see UPW Live in person  UPW have shows coming up at the Weymouth Pavilions throughout the summer.

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Ziggler is Lucky Number 1 (or 2) Dolph Ziggler This Sunday 27th January 2013 WWE Royal Rumble will air. Generally One of the best WWE PPV's of the year. This year 30 Man Royal Rumble match has alot of intrigue built into it most people are of the opinion that John Cena will be winning this years event and then go on to face The Rock at Wrestlemania. However after seeing this past Monday's WWE raw WWE might have something else in mind.,.,, Royal Rumble 2013 A Beat the clock challenge took place on WWE Raw and the winner of this we were originally told could pick their number for the Royal Rumble Match. Dolph Ziggler Ends up winning the Beat The Clock challenge then when he is bragging about this Vicki Guerreo informs Ziggler that it is not a free choice of Royal Rumble Entry number instead it is a number chosen within a certain range Number one to Number two. Here's what WWE could do This I feel is the ideal opportunity fo

Strike Wrestling Results Bournemouth May 20th 2018   Hello Wrestling fans! Welcome to the first ever Strike Wrestling Results blog!  I went to Bournemouth and took x2 trains and a bus to get there and it was well worth the effort. Before I get to the wrestling a bit about Bournemouth Bournemouth is a beautiful town it was a sunny hot day. I managed to go to the beach and see the pier and get a great view from Bournemouth on top of the cliffs, where there were also many of great restaurants and places to eat. Check out my on the road video on Strike Wrestling by clicking the video below! This was my first show at Strike Wrestling and Strike is an over 18’s show so I was expecting a different vibe, feel and presentation to family orientated wrestling that I have attended in the past. Strike wrestling is high paced, hard hitting, fast action but with a huge streak of entertainment, fun and having a great time.   From where I was

WWE TV in UK 2024 Will it Stay on TNT Sports, Move Back to Sky or Somewhere new?

In 2020 WWE signed a multi year deal with TNT Sports (BT Sport at the time) to air WWE programming WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown and WWE NXT.  Channel 5 also airs highlights of WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown but on a week delay - Channel 5 is a free to air channel here in the UK.  Last week I received an email as a WWE Network subscriber here in the UK to inform me that I could now watch WWE NXT every week on WWE Network from 3rd Jan 2024. So this email got me thinking - is the WWE/TNT Sports UK TV deal coming up soon? it looks possible. Looking at the original story of the deal being made in 2020 multiple sources claim that it is a "multi year deal" See below  ( https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a28113145/wwe-smackdown-raw-watch-uk-tv-bt-sport/)     I could not find how many specific years that was., However I thought i'd give my opinion on where WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown could end up in 2024, The rights fee's obviously are alot less than there are in USA due to WWE Raw and Sma
