WWE News This Week
to Saturday 23rd June 2018

A new blog post from me looking back at some of the main stories of the week in WWE, my opinion on that story, links to websites that reported the story or link to my own blog if I have written about that subject this week.

WWE News of The Week

Vader Passes Away
Original story from WWE.com

Jon's opinion - Its so very sad to see that Vader has passed away this week, I remember seeing him as a Kid in WCW and then later in WWE. I was always impressed with his ability for such a large man. Vader is a true wrestling legend having wrestled all over the world, a former WCW champion and a Champion in Japan also. My best wishes to his family at this sad time.

Big Cass is released from WWE

Jon's Opinion - Well here's the thing I try not to read into rumours or to speculation. WWE obviously felt that their working relationship with Big Cass had become untenable and there wasn't anything that could be done to repair it, so its best at this time for him and WWE to part ways, I don't think this will be the end for Big Cass, we may see him back again in a number of years once he is more seasoned and experienced performer, I Wish Big Cass all the best.

Moustache Mountain Win WWE NXT Tag Team Titles

Jon's Opinion - I was so very happy to see this news this week. Trent Severn and Tyler Bate are genuinely two of the nicest wrestlers I have had the pleasure of meeting. They along with Pete Dunne have spearheaded this UK resurgence in WWE and Severn and Bate are in my opinion constantly brilliant and always trying to add new things to their game, and enhance their matches and what they do, congratulations lads.

Triple H and Johnny Saint Announce WWE NXT UK

Jon's Opinion - I wrote a while blog on this ( you can click on the link below) its exciting news and I talk about WWE NXT formation, who could be signed by WWE and what the implications are for the UK Wrestling scene

Sami Zayn injured out for the rest of 2018

Jon's Opinion - Very sad to see this, Sami Zayn has been so entertaining over the past year and his partnership with Kevin Owens Hilarious. Its such a shame that Zayn will be out until at least Royal Rumble but hopefully he can make a return before Wrestlemaina

Women's Wrestling as I was growing up was very sparse. I was a big WWE fan and started watching in 1990 as a 4 year old. We used to see some females in front of the camera Miss Elizabeth, Sensational Sherri and more but rarely did we see them wrestle.  As time moved i...

My Memories Kevin Nash WCW years 1996-2001

My Memories Kevin Nash WCW Years 1996 -2001   After the success of my last blog Kevin Nash the WWE years 1993-1996 (Which can be viewed here)   http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=1989536858659423683#editor/target=post;postID=6495934313225897804     Based on feedback I received I decided that I would do another blog on Kevin Nash this time looking back at the next part of his career from Mid 1996-2001 Kevin Nash Career in WCW.   This blog differs slightly to the last one as at this time in my life we could not watch WCW here in the UK as we did not have Sky TV Therefore some of this I saw at the time and other things I have had to research.       When Kevin Nash Left WWF in May of 1996 it was to move to longtime WWF Rival WCW. Kevin was no stranger to WCW having been in WCW before he came to WWE in 1993. Kevin Came in  to WCW a week after his good friend Scott Hall made his debut on WCW Nitro May 27th 19...
