Triple H  appears & more!

Hello Everyone and welcome back!

Its been a little while since I have been back in Cardiff and this is my very first ICW show - I was very much looking forward to it and seeing Big Grizzly, Bram, Sierra Loxton and more!

I got to The Venue The Tramshed in Cardiff and was a little early. As Most of you now I travel to these shows alone and I got to the venue really early but luckily I met a lovely couple from Ireland who had come over from the show and had a great chat with them, Really sorry I cant remember your names but if your reading this thanks for keeping me company!

That's what I love about shows like this the awesome fans and great conversations!!

I get lined up and get into the show - I purchased a silver seated ticket and I come in and get a seat on the 2nd row ready for the show.

Before I go on I must say that I also had tickets for WWE in Cardiff at 5pm so I had to leave at 16:15 so did not get to see all of the ICW show till the end but what a show it was!

Just before I explain what happens I have got to say I feel so lucky. My First ICW show and this happens....One of the coolest things to ever happen at UK wrestling show.

Mark Dallas ICW owner comes to the ring and says that they are friends with WWE and its good to have friends, then music hits and WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne walks into the ring. Pete talks about where UK Wrestling has come from and where it is now.

Mark Dallas gets on the mic again and says its good to have even more friends, then Triple H music hits and we all go fucking mental.

Triple H hits the ring and everyone is in shock, they cannot believe that Triple H is there and I'm in disbelief myself - this is such a cool moment.

Triple H takes the mic he talks to the fans Thanking them for supporting Independent Wrestling supporting ICW and Progress and states that he was a fan just like us - mesmerised and in love with Pro Wrestling.

Triple H then says that for UK Wrestling this is just the beginning and there is a lot more to come just wait and see....

Triple H, Mark Dallas and Pete Dunne then leave the ring.

As I mentioned I had to leave early but really wish I didn't have to go.

From Beginning to when I had to go I enjoyed this so much. If you've never been to ICW before or thinking about going to ICW a highly recommend it.

I have got to give a special mention to a few things
  • I loved Billy Kirkwood kicking off the show, The Tag Team Street Fight was total insane. They Fought all over The Tramshed, Behind the Bar and even outside! Sha Samuels did a moonsault outside off the wall!
  • Mike Bird cut a tremendous promo afterwards and thought it was nicely done and really put across that they weren't meant to be Tag Champions and their aren't managements choice but they keep breaking down the barriers and keep being successful in ICW.
  • The ladies Triple Threat Was Great love Kay lee Ray as a bad girl (it suits her) Viper and Sierra Loxton were tremendous in the match and there were some great moments and the match, with Sierra Dive to the outside and Viper Bodyslamming everyone including the ref (then Sierra Bodyslamming Viper on Kay Lee Ray)  being highlights.
  • Seeing Welshman Big Grizzly in ICW was a big Highlight for me to see him taking on both Stevie Boy and the interfering Kay Lee Ray was great. The match built nicely and the only disappointment was that Stevie cheated to get the win. ICW have a future star on their Hands With Big Grizzly he has a very bright future
  • I loved this ICW show because it managed to get me lost in the moment, immersed in what I was watching and got me to relax and enjoy. That to me is the art of pro wrestling and on top of that I got the added extra of Triple H and Pete Dunne turning up.

You can watch the above event by purchasing it at ICW on Demand

ICW next show is 19th November 2017 and its Massive!

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Ziggler is Lucky Number 1...or 2

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Ziggler is Lucky Number 1 (or 2) Dolph Ziggler This Sunday 27th January 2013 WWE Royal Rumble will air. Generally One of the best WWE PPV's of the year. This year 30 Man Royal Rumble match has alot of intrigue built into it most people are of the opinion that John Cena will be winning this years event and then go on to face The Rock at Wrestlemania. However after seeing this past Monday's WWE raw WWE might have something else in mind.,.,, Royal Rumble 2013 A Beat the clock challenge took place on WWE Raw and the winner of this we were originally told could pick their number for the Royal Rumble Match. Dolph Ziggler Ends up winning the Beat The Clock challenge then when he is bragging about this Vicki Guerreo informs Ziggler that it is not a free choice of Royal Rumble Entry number instead it is a number chosen within a certain range Number one to Number two. Here's what WWE could do This I feel is the ideal opportunity fo

Strike Wrestling Results Bournemouth May 20th 2018   Hello Wrestling fans! Welcome to the first ever Strike Wrestling Results blog!  I went to Bournemouth and took x2 trains and a bus to get there and it was well worth the effort. Before I get to the wrestling a bit about Bournemouth Bournemouth is a beautiful town it was a sunny hot day. I managed to go to the beach and see the pier and get a great view from Bournemouth on top of the cliffs, where there were also many of great restaurants and places to eat. Check out my on the road video on Strike Wrestling by clicking the video below! This was my first show at Strike Wrestling and Strike is an over 18’s show so I was expecting a different vibe, feel and presentation to family orientated wrestling that I have attended in the past. Strike wrestling is high paced, hard hitting, fast action but with a huge streak of entertainment, fun and having a great time.   From where I was

WWE TV in UK 2024 Will it Stay on TNT Sports, Move Back to Sky or Somewhere new?

In 2020 WWE signed a multi year deal with TNT Sports (BT Sport at the time) to air WWE programming WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown and WWE NXT.  Channel 5 also airs highlights of WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown but on a week delay - Channel 5 is a free to air channel here in the UK.  Last week I received an email as a WWE Network subscriber here in the UK to inform me that I could now watch WWE NXT every week on WWE Network from 3rd Jan 2024. So this email got me thinking - is the WWE/TNT Sports UK TV deal coming up soon? it looks possible. Looking at the original story of the deal being made in 2020 multiple sources claim that it is a "multi year deal" See below  ( https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a28113145/wwe-smackdown-raw-watch-uk-tv-bt-sport/)     I could not find how many specific years that was., However I thought i'd give my opinion on where WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown could end up in 2024, The rights fee's obviously are alot less than there are in USA due to WWE Raw and Sma
