I promised myself in 2017 I would go out more and see more wrestling promotions one on the top of my list was Progress Wrestling.

Progress have been doing some amazing things in UK Wrestling and I wanted to see it for myself and luckily for me, they decided to run a show while I was in Manchester.

I managed to get 2 standing tickets for me and my friend Sabrina and we are ready to go.

We get to the venue and luckily the weather holds out while we are queueing outside and then we go into the 02 Ritz.

When I got into the venue the room was nearly full already, I noticed immediately that their seemed to be such an energetic atmosphere. we find a place to stand and shortly after the show is ready to begin.

My Thoughts

I have seen Progress Wrestling Online and with this being my first Progress Show I had high expectations and they were met and surpassed.

Progress (In the best possible way) felt like a drug I want more of.

The Atomsphere at a show is so important and the crowd really do help make these shows, The chants and appreciation and respect for the wrestling and the wrestlers, owners, backstage staff was Tremendous.

As my first Progress live event I was made so welcome and fans were great to talk too and I even managed to Speak to Jim Smallman, Part owner of Progress and our ring announcer for the event - he was great to talk to and massive thank you to him for giving me time to talk to him.

The matches themselves surpassed what I had in my mind to see so much great talent all on one card was such a treat. I was amazed to see how much the fans hate British Strong Style (Dunne, Bate, Severn) they really are despised by the Progress wrestling faithful.

I have been thinking about this for awhile and I cant pick a favourite match from this card - I truly enjoyed it all and all in different ways from the entertainment for Sweet Jesus, to the Craziness that is Session Moth, to the technical ability of Matt Riddle to the high flying ability of Mark Andrews there is something here for everyone.

One thing is for sure I will be coming back to Progress Wrestling very soon, without doubt and without question.

As I speak tickets for Manchester in July 23rd 2017 went on sale and they sold out within a couple of hours - the demand to see this is huge and I can see why.

Progress Wrestling........I'll see you again very very Soon

Thank You for Reading

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Ziggler is Lucky Number 1...or 2

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Ziggler is Lucky Number 1 (or 2) Dolph Ziggler This Sunday 27th January 2013 WWE Royal Rumble will air. Generally One of the best WWE PPV's of the year. This year 30 Man Royal Rumble match has alot of intrigue built into it most people are of the opinion that John Cena will be winning this years event and then go on to face The Rock at Wrestlemania. However after seeing this past Monday's WWE raw WWE might have something else in mind.,.,, Royal Rumble 2013 A Beat the clock challenge took place on WWE Raw and the winner of this we were originally told could pick their number for the Royal Rumble Match. Dolph Ziggler Ends up winning the Beat The Clock challenge then when he is bragging about this Vicki Guerreo informs Ziggler that it is not a free choice of Royal Rumble Entry number instead it is a number chosen within a certain range Number one to Number two. Here's what WWE could do This I feel is the ideal opportunity fo

Strike Wrestling Results Bournemouth May 20th 2018   Hello Wrestling fans! Welcome to the first ever Strike Wrestling Results blog!  I went to Bournemouth and took x2 trains and a bus to get there and it was well worth the effort. Before I get to the wrestling a bit about Bournemouth Bournemouth is a beautiful town it was a sunny hot day. I managed to go to the beach and see the pier and get a great view from Bournemouth on top of the cliffs, where there were also many of great restaurants and places to eat. Check out my on the road video on Strike Wrestling by clicking the video below! This was my first show at Strike Wrestling and Strike is an over 18’s show so I was expecting a different vibe, feel and presentation to family orientated wrestling that I have attended in the past. Strike wrestling is high paced, hard hitting, fast action but with a huge streak of entertainment, fun and having a great time.   From where I was

WWE TV in UK 2024 Will it Stay on TNT Sports, Move Back to Sky or Somewhere new?

In 2020 WWE signed a multi year deal with TNT Sports (BT Sport at the time) to air WWE programming WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown and WWE NXT.  Channel 5 also airs highlights of WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown but on a week delay - Channel 5 is a free to air channel here in the UK.  Last week I received an email as a WWE Network subscriber here in the UK to inform me that I could now watch WWE NXT every week on WWE Network from 3rd Jan 2024. So this email got me thinking - is the WWE/TNT Sports UK TV deal coming up soon? it looks possible. Looking at the original story of the deal being made in 2020 multiple sources claim that it is a "multi year deal" See below  ( https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a28113145/wwe-smackdown-raw-watch-uk-tv-bt-sport/)     I could not find how many specific years that was., However I thought i'd give my opinion on where WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown could end up in 2024, The rights fee's obviously are alot less than there are in USA due to WWE Raw and Sma
