AW Official Release from WWE Last night I heard the news that AW - Abraham Washington has been released from the WWE. below is WWE official Release statement regarding AW. The statement of the website reads " WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar A.W. as of today, August 10, 2012. WWE wishes A.W. the best in all his future  endeavours " Presumably this stems from his comments from WWE RAW when he mentioned Kobe Bryant. Now not being American and Living in the UK when I saw that Initially It didn't resonate with me when I heard Michael Cole after the PrimeTime Players match Apologising for the comments of AW I didn't think much of it.....Until I went to Twitter
