Randy Orton Legend Killer Years 2002-2005

Randy Orton Legend Killer Years
2002-2005

Randy Orton right now is one of the top wrestlers in WWE. Randy Orton has millions of fans around the world and also has been a star in WWE and been a WWE and World Heavyweight Champion. I'd like to take a look back at some of his career moments that have stood out to me so far and his Ascension to the top of WWE.

The Debut

Randy Arrived in WWE During the Ruthless Aggression Era in WWE and his first match was against Hardcore Holly (Bob Holly) on Smackdown Randy defeated Holly with a roll up pin to secure his first win in WWE See the video below to see Orton in his first appearance in WWE.

Later in 2002 Randy Orton got drafted to WWE Raw Brand then Randy Orton got injured and hurt his arm and shoulder. I remember seeing at the time these Randy News Network promos where Randy Would talk about himself and update everyone on his injury. I loved these as they were new and different and no one had ever done anything like that before and keep Randy in the fans mind and in my mind although he was injured and I think made him a bigger star and was Help Randy build up for his return to the ring. Evolution

When Orton came back from  his injury he joined Triple H, Ric Flair and Batista in the group Evolution. This was a great move for Randy Orton as he got to work with and learn from Flair and Triple H two if the best in the wrestling business and this helped enhance his character and with no pun intended help evolve Randy Orton

you can see the Debut of the group by clicking on the clip below

As Part of Evolution Randy Orton then started calling himself the Legend Killer
Orton would have matches and call them Legend versus Legend Killer. Randy Orton then defeated RVD Rob Van Dam and won his 1st intercontinental championship - Randy Orton then held the Intercontinental championship for 7 months

Randy Orton lost  it to Edge. You can see Orton Win his first WWE intercontinental Title by watch the video below

Randy Orton had a standout feud during this time  with Mick Foley. Mick and Randy Orton feud was a classic and it started with Randy Throwing Mick down the stairs you can see this below

Foley was afraid to wrestle a match with Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton and walked out of the arena rather than face him. Foley and Orton faced each other in Royal Rumble 2004 and eliminated each other this then led to a match at Wrestlemania 20 with Evolution vs Rock and Mick Foley. See Highlights of this match below.

This then lead to a one on one match between Orton and Foley and what many consider to be the standout match between the two and the match that put Randy Orton on the Map as a main event player and as someone who could be a main eventer in WWE. I remember this match as being so hard hitting and the risks that both men took were incredible. Orton even took a bump into thumbtacks that Foley had placed in the ring Orton went into those tacks with  no tshirt on. Orton Won this match. Watch this match below

Legend Killer Randy Orton faced superstars like Shawn Michaels, Dusty Rhodes, Sgt Slaughter Rob Van Dam,The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan. Below you can see a promo video of Randy Orton Legend Killer list.

Youngest World Heavyweight Champion

Randy Orton Won a Battle Royal to Become Number one contender for the World Championship. Orton Defeated 20 other men the ending of this Battle Royal can be seen below

Orton then faced Chris Beniot and beat Beniot at Summerslam 2004 to become the Youngest World Heavyweight Champion - You can see Randy Win the Title Below.

Following Night Orton then beat Beniot again and following this came the famous scene of Orton on the shoulders of Batista and Triple H giving the Thumbs down which then kicked off the feud between Orton and Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title.

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 Ziggler is Lucky Number 1 (or 2) Dolph Ziggler This Sunday 27th January 2013 WWE Royal Rumble will air. Generally One of the best WWE PPV's of the year. This year 30 Man Royal Rumble match has alot of intrigue built into it most people are of the opinion that John Cena will be winning this years event and then go on to face The Rock at Wrestlemania. However after seeing this past Monday's WWE raw WWE might have something else in mind.,.,, Royal Rumble 2013 A Beat the clock challenge took place on WWE Raw and the winner of this we were originally told could pick their number for the Royal Rumble Match. Dolph Ziggler Ends up winning the Beat The Clock challenge then when he is bragging about this Vicki Guerreo informs Ziggler that it is not a free choice of Royal Rumble Entry number instead it is a number chosen within a certain range Number one to Number two. Here's what WWE could do This I feel is the ideal opportunity fo

AEW All Elite Wrestling to Sky Sports in The UK?

AEW  All Elite Wrestling to Sky Sports in The UK?  All Elite Wrestling airs in the UK on ITV 4 on a Friday night and ITV Hub (Itv on demand service should be uploaded on a Thursday) ITV don't air AEW Dynamite live and a separate subscription has to be purchased via Fite.TV if fans wish to do this.  Initially things started off OK although @itvwrestling had difficulties getting Dynamite on ITV Hub on time (they promised Thursdays at 7pm) usually this was up on a Friday morning. However as the weeks went on the uploading to ITV hub did not get any better and as of this writing its as worse as it has ever been they don't upload the episodes consistently which is leaving many fans frustrated and ITV Wrestling haven't been communicating with fans. @ITV Wrestling haven't tweeted about AEW since Dec 5th - they haven't updated any of their graphics since Full Gear and ITV wrestling now seem totally disconnected from the fans and from my perspective th

Strike Wrestling Results Bournemouth May 20th 2018

Strike Wrestling Results Bournemouth May 20th 2018   Hello Wrestling fans! Welcome to the first ever Strike Wrestling Results blog!  I went to Bournemouth and took x2 trains and a bus to get there and it was well worth the effort. Before I get to the wrestling a bit about Bournemouth Bournemouth is a beautiful town it was a sunny hot day. I managed to go to the beach and see the pier and get a great view from Bournemouth on top of the cliffs, where there were also many of great restaurants and places to eat. Check out my on the road video on Strike Wrestling by clicking the video below! This was my first show at Strike Wrestling and Strike is an over 18’s show so I was expecting a different vibe, feel and presentation to family orientated wrestling that I have attended in the past. Strike wrestling is high paced, hard hitting, fast action but with a huge streak of entertainment, fun and having a great time.   From where I was
